Fantastic location. The apartments are spacious, clean, comfortable and well stocked. Staff are friendly and it was reassuring to know that the reception is staffed 24/7 just in case we needed any help. Great location for the royal mile, Arthur seat, Holyrood palace, castle etc. 15mins from Tram line if needed otherwise 20 mins walking distance from edinburgh waverley station. apartment was spacious, and facilities were good. perfect for families! Staff was really friendly - Daniel was superb!

I've never stayed in this sort of accommodation before so I was quite nervous and didn't know what to expect, especially as I'd read such mixed reviews of this accommodation. Some of the issues raised on other reviews were a complete contradiction to what I experienced. For instance, we had very little need to interact with the staff, because we basically had everything we needed and we were doing fine. The only time we did need to speak to the staff, because we wanted to borrow a shower mat, they were very friendly, helpful and efficient and they had the mat put in our apartment by the time we'd got back. Regarding homeless people, I never once saw a homeless person near the entrance to the apartments. There were some further up on the next road but you'd have to walk a couple of minutes to find them and we certainly couldn't hear them from our apartment. Our apartment was lovely and so comfortable. We had everything we could possibly need and more. It was a joy to come back to each evening. The breakfast hamper was wonderful and lasted us nearly the whole week. It was so convenient and a real luxury to have proper milk so we could have a decent cup of tea every day. It was great having a Tesco so close by too so we could easily by top up bits of shopping. All in all we had a great experience and I'm very glad we stayed here. I wouldn't have missed it for anything.

It's located at the end of the Royal mile, away from the hustle and bustle of the main areas. It was an easy walk to anywhere along the mile, very close to Holyrood and Dynamic earth. Lovely restaurants nearby and a Tesco extra for supplies. Our apartment had a fully equipped kitchen area, with a washer/dryer and dishwasher. Comfortable beds and lovely bathroom with shower. I like that rooms are only serviced on request, and if we ran out of supplies, we just told the desk, and everything would be in our room upon our return. We paid for the breakfast package and had a lovely supply of cereal, bread, jams, cheeses, yoghurts, etc. There was even a gluten-free cereal for me. I'd readily stay here again. The staff on reception were also wonderful and worthy of mentioning.
